I am looking for a managed East Texas deer lease. Name of the lease and contact information would really be helpful. The lease I am on now is just not producing.
Thanks.

You should pst this in Lands and Leases section, may even find something in there for your self as well.

I wouldn't judge your lease by this season in East Texas. It's been a strangely and painfully SLOW season for pretty much everybody around here.

What BowSlayer said. I have three leases that I manage in Nacogdoches county and there has been a total of one deer killed so far. I personally have seen zero deer since the start of bow season. Right now the corn is piling up under the feeders- I don't even have pictures of hogs. There are so many acorns this year that the deer don't have to move much to get their fill. The one buck that was killed was a dandy and I have some night pictures of a very good buck. I am hoping that within a couple of weeks that the acorns will be gone or soured so we will start seeing some movement.

Yep. Slow this year but being optimistic that the acorns will soon be gone.

I hunt in Polk County near Chester. But, I think you are right about a slow year. My brother has a lease in Cherokee County and they are having the same issues as it seems everyone is having.
Thanks for the tip about move the post to the right category.
