Went out to Sonora on a low fence/free range axis hunt last week and I wanted to share my experience. Mike runs a top rate outfit and I give him my highest recommendation. This was my second hunt I have done with him. The properties mike has access to are phenomenal and well managed. This year we hunted the LF portion the Shurley Ranch/Los Cuernos. We saw numerous axis bucks over 30" and we're fortunate to come away with a 32" and 35+" He and his go to guide, Tyler, were not only knowledgeable about the ranches but also went the extra mile to ensure we were successful. The accommodations were clean, well maintained and comfortable. I'd hunt with him again in a heartbeat.
