Our Rocksprings hunts have become a yearly event for the majority of our clients. We have 12 groups of guys and gals who consistently return year after year for more exotic hunting fun. Rifle Hog Hunts:

Location – Hondo, TX
Ranch Size – 4,000 Acres free range
Number of Hogs – We allow unlimited kills on this property
Terrain – Hill Country with creek bottoms
Hunt Type – Blinds, Safari Style, and Spot and Stalk
Hunt Times – Most hogs on this ranch are killed at night with the use of artificial lights
Price – $175 per person per night
Lodging – $75 per person per night
Meals – $50 per person per night
This is one of the best free range hog hunting properties in the state. Our ranch is known for good size wild hogs with great cutters. Each year we kill at least 3 pigs with cutters over 4″ and multiple pigs with cutters over 3″. To be successful on this hunt you must be willing to remain quiet, scent free, and hunt the night. This hunt is truly for guys who are looking for a good “night” hunt. If you are wanting to shoot pigs during normal “deer hunting” type hours and party all night, this is not the hunt for you.

When hunting wild boar we recommend calibers of .270 or larger. We also encourage any tools you may have to assist you in hunting at night; ie, flashlights, binoculars, night vision, thermal optics, etc.


Archery Only Hog Hunts:

This ranch is a high fenced hunting facility and is archery only. The ranch is absolutely fantastic for those who are interested in seeing lots of wild hogs and having plenty of shooting opportunities. The ranch is also home to many other exotic and native game species that may be harvested for additional fees while on the property.

We hunt each morning and evening at this property. You will be taken to a very comfortable box blind and your guide will run they daily corn route past your hunting zone. You are allowed 1 hog per day of hunting and you may also choose to shoot additional wild boar for a fee of $100 per pig.

This ranch has a wonderful cleaning facility for the processing of your hogs. You are more than welcome to do this on your own or may have your guide clean and dispose of your game for a fee of $40 per animal.

The lodge on this ranch is beautiful and probably the nicest lodge in our state for a bow hunting only facility. This is the perfect place to bring your wife or kids for a weekend getaway without worrying if it is going to be clean enough for the girls.

This is one of the most exciting hunts you will ever go on. If you have never run behind a good group of dogs, you are really missing one of life’s biggest thrills. This isn’t the type of hunt you might go on continuously but I do suggest that every hunting enthusiast try it at least once. Also if you have a buddy who like to brag about how tough they are…bring them on this hunt and let’s see if they really are a man or quickly become a mouse!

We do not allow firearms of any type on this hunt. If you have your own pig sticker you are more than welcome to bring it or we will provide one for you. This is a physically demanding hunt, especially if we get on a rank boar that is able to break away from the dogs a few time. This is not a hunt for queasy people. These hunts get bloody and are prone to injury for all parties involved. If you’re the type that needs a cuban, glass of scotch, shower, and fuzzy slippers after your evening of hunting…don’t bother calling about this hunt.
