Wow, what a weekend! Our hunter and his wife traveled all the way down from Washington to hunt a low fence Water Buck. Made quick work of it on the first day of his hunt so we took him back in the next day to hunt an oryx. Closed the deal quickly on that as well so spent the rest of their weekend fishing. Congras to y'all and the client.
The Yturria is a cool place. I used to hunt a pasture on the south end of Norias (King Ranch) which bordered the Yturria. You never quite knew what you'd see down there. Waterbuck and Scimitar were common, with the occasional Lechwe, and of course tons of Nilgai. Nobody believes me, but we once saw a group of 20+ mature Nilgai bulls running together on the Yturria side.

Yes sir, I know exactly where you're talking about. It's an incredible area to hunt being able to see all of these animals that are not behind a high fence. Our Nilgai population right now is about as good as we've ever seen it. It is not uncommon to see 50-100 Nilgai in a day right now. Pretty amazing!

Still have just a few openings in Nov and just 1 weekend in Dec to get in on a very exciting hunt for Nilgai Bulls.
