We have continued to make investments in our exotic herd - we have introduced new genetics to our axis herd as well as started a blackbuck. The blackbucks had a slow start with the help of the coyotes. However they are making a nice comeback and we will be allowing some limited hunting this year. New for 2015 we are offering the opportunity to hunt doves in September and quail in the fall as well. This years quail is outstanding.
We have been blessed with great rains this year and the ranch is lush and the animals are in great shape. We have been seeing many fawns and the antler growth on the bucks has been impressive. We will once again be participating in Texas Parks and Wildlife's MLD program for the 2015 season. This will allow an extended hunting season as well as providing deer permits so you do not have to use your own tags. This will allow the harvest of any whitetail deer by any lawful means, including firearms beginning the 1st weekend of October.
We will be offering the following hunts:
September Dove Hunting
- $75/day/hunter , 2 day min, groups up to 6 (min of 3 hunters) (lodging included, bring your own meals)
- Stay at the Lodge on both Friday and Saturday evenings
- You will need to provide your own food, towels and sleeping bags
October / November Whitetail Deer Hunting - see web page for pricing

Week day packages are available upon request. We are also willing to modify packages to suit your specific needs (ie include meals). Please feel free to give us a call or drop us an email and we can discuss the specifics. To book your hunt and reserve your spot we will need a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time hunt is booked. Balance of the hunt cost will be due upon arrival. This will need to be either cash or a certified bank check. We will be offering a limited number of hunts based on TPWD harvest recommendations so booking will be on a first come first served basis.
