I unstand the upkeep of ranches this size and all but the prices u and most are asking are keeping hardworking, retired vets of Texas from enjoying what u have to offer because we can't afford it, much less afford small leases in this state.

Dear Sir, You are correct the cost of living only goes up. Land cost (up) Feed cost (up) Taxes (up) Property Taxes (up),Fuel Cost (up)..... Therefore deer leases go (up). I can remember when a deer lease cost me a few hundred dollars. Now they are a few thousand dollars. Then again I remember when gas was 0.25/gallon, a new car was 3,500 and a house was 30,000. Rising cost has affected everything.

This does not mean we can't hunt... a deer is a deer... until we place personal value on score. I would suggest you contact GRanch they will work hard to find a great hunting experience within any budget.

First off Thank you for your service. My trophy bucks may be out of your price range. We put alot into these deer so it does drive the price along with the market.Please feel free to contact me i do have other options to look at as far as some very nice bucks on another ranch that I may could set you up a hunt.

First off...please don't take what I said the wrong way. I just recently moves back to Texas after riding ships for the last 22 years and got shocked by the prices for hunting here. There's no way...it would take me 10 years to save up for that. I appreciate you're suggestions but public lands are a no go do to everyone being on them and leases are too high so looks like me and the family will sit out the season..ty for you're replys.
