Looking for a place to take my family and camp one night, can be a weekday night.
We're not rich so the cost needs to be reasonable.

I would love it to have a small 1 room cabin with AC or something, but other than that
we have a full tent and gear if that's not available. May want to bring a dog, but that is
not necessary. Looking for anything 1-4 hours out of DFW, someplace that gets DARK.

Looking for a place that will let me come in early afternoon and get setup. Let us explore
a little and maybe shoot 22lr at some empty cans or paper targets, that we will cleanup. Stay overnight with
a camp fire. Leave after breakfast. We won't need to shoot any varmints. We will clean up after
ourselves and not leave a mess.

Good idea. But, I would like to shoot a little 22lr with the kids,
I don't think I can do that at Tyler. Still a decent option
