It's that time of year again and Big Hat Outfitters is already prepping for a great dove and duck season. If you haven't hunted with BHO before, we're one of the largest privately owned at over 5000 acres currently in North Central Texas.

BHO's Dove Hunts are available for immediate booking. We have 100 available spots in Dodd City at Big Hat Cattle Co. (3200 Acres) just minutes outside of Bonham, TX in Fannin County. Six prime fields that are spotted out sunflower. See map of the Big Hat Ranch and field setups. First come first serve.

This year on Saturday Sept. 2nd, we will be providing lunch for everyone. As well we will be giving away a 2017 Dove Lease to one lucky hunter at the luncheon. All hunters present at the lunch will be entered in the drawing.

We have room for tent camping (free of charge) and actually have an RV with A/C that can sleep three (First come first serve) - Camper rents out at $20 a person a night, or 3 people at $50... you get the idea.We have areas where campers are welcome. You must provide your own generator. If you don't want to camp or stay on the property, Bonham is only 10 minutes away has motels.

Also, we are doing full season leases this year at $300 a hunter. That lease would be in affect 9/1/2017 - 11/13/2017 & 12/17/17 - 1/1/2018. With this lease you have full access to hunt anytime (morning/evening/both) any day during the season. All we require is advanced notice of the days you will be on the ranch so we keep all hunters and ranch staff safe.
We will be offering the following packages for opening weekend.

Rates: Sept 1st - Sept. 4th
**Lunch only on Saturday**
(Kids 12 and under always hunt for free)
1 day (Morn / Evening) - $75 a day
2 days or more (Morn / Evening) - $50 a day

ATV's and off road vehicles are welcome and while you are not hunting, you can ride the trails and check out the Ranch. You can hunt coyotes in the evening once you are done hunting dove at no extra charge.

All hunts require a 50% deposit on whatever hunt you book. We do this because of past no shows when we were fully booked. If you call and give us at least 48hrs notice before your hunt that you won't be able to make it, we will gladly refund your deposit.
