Guys I have two brothers that have never been on an elk hunt. I am looking for two Bulls and one cow to hunt the first rifle season. Need to be able to score over 300 for the Bulls. At this point we need private land owner tags. Any thoughts?

Since you are looking at a landowner tag hunt, dates can vary on some of these. Can be anywhere from Aug. into December depending upon the hunt area/state.
Specific date range you are looking at?

I would ideally like to hunt the first week of rifle season to catch the tail end of rut so I can use my bow and my brothers can use their guns.

I would ideally like to hunt the first week of rifle season to catch the tail end of rut so I can use my bow and my brothers can use their guns. "RIFLES" NOT "GUNS" Remember in the service if you called your rifle a "GUN", you had to strip naked and walk around the barracks carrying your rifle saying "this is my rifle, this is my gun (pointing to your pecker) this is for shooting (holding up your M-1) and this is for fun (hand on pecker)" Just a small terminology correction. okiehuntr

I have one hunt that can accommodate you and your brothers.....Oct. 8-12th in New Mexico on 60,000+ acres. 2 bulls and a cow. Few different ranches will be hunted with some hunting done on Alfalfa fields. All 1x1 guiding on this hunt. Very easy hunt physically. 90% private land in this area so their is virtually no public hunting hunting pressure.
May also have another option for you down in Southwest New Mexico.
Give me a call if interested
Thanks Brett

Would Sept. 26-30 or Oct. 3-7th work?
