This ranch is less than 15 minutes outside of Dilley, Tx. Year round feed and water on the property. Lodging is available in town (less than 15 minutes from the ranch). 2 birds are included, hogs are included as well. 2 hunters max per hunt. Q: How many turkeys do you see on the property
A: Large groups of birds, this property does not get hunted hard and the neighbors do a limited amount of turkey hunting.
Q: How many do you hear gobble?
A: I have never gone out and counted the gobblers or done a turkey survey. The birds are there.
Q: What is your success rate?
A: How good of a turkey hunter are you? Its just like anything else, the birds are there, we feed, keep the pressure to a minimum, and scout. Nothing is a guarantee in hunting but this ranch has always produced.
Q:Can I split the 2 birds with another hunter.
A: If the other hunter is under 12 years old we will allow that.
Q:How big is the ranch?
A: 500+/- acres bordered by 10,000+ acres to the south.
Q:What type of terrain is the ranch?
A: The ranch has bull mesquite, black brush, white brush, year round creek with a spring runs through the property, semi- flat terrain.
Q: Are there feeders on the property?
A: I have feeders running year round with milo/corn mix.
