I’m looking to buy a deer feeder for my dad for Christmas. Looking to spend ~$100. My dad doesn’t really hunt but he does like to watch deer at the house. So I’d like to get him a feeder to set up and maybe pull a few more deer in.
It needs to be fillable from the ground and be easy to program.
Are the cheap moultrie feeders my best bet?

From Academy. Their "Game Winner" 6 volt digital timer feeder for $34.99 is hard to beat. Its all metal housing and the digital key pad has been very reliable. If the motor goes out then its easy to replace. If the digital pad goes out , it is also easy to replace. If you have a moultree feeder, then it is almost impossible to replace a part. I have 3 of these game winner feeders working now and have used for 3 seasons now. No problems. I don't like wild game innovations.
