Do any of you have suggestions on how to transport 16 foot hog panels on a 10 ft trailer? My 16ft trailer is out of commission at the moment.

If it has a gate you can basically make it into a "U" at the gate.

Overhang three feet on both ends of the trailer. Tie some flagging on the back end

Roll em in half and zip tie the ends together. Tie to trailer

Depending on how many, set them vertical like in a U-shape; kinda like a tailgate.

Have them cut in half before transporting if need be...

I run a strap through one end of all of them and attach it to the front of the trailer. Then bend the others over and strap them down as well. Works fine.

Have tried the rolling up method and there is a bunch of tension on those panels and can be a bit dangerous. I cut the panels in half now. Easier to load/unload and set up in the field.

I now use my long trailer but I have rolled them and hauled in the truck bed.

trailer?? put them over the roof of your truck and strap one end down to the grill guard and one to the receiver hitch... no trailer to mess with... done and done

Tear up the roof of my truck? Back to trailer...

? no one can see the roof

Find a friend with a sixteen foot trailer. That's what my buddies do.

Seems like even with a trailer those hog panels try every way in the world to rattle off there. You better check them often once you start down the road.

You can make a U and move them in a 6ft truck bed. Probably do the same in a trailer

weave the straps thru the panels and tighten down, they will not walk as bad or move the panels to one side of trailer before strapping down, I just put scraps of 2x8's between panels and sides of trailer.

This...I have a ten foot trailer and have carried as many as twelve panels...four wheeler in the center and slid one panel st a time into one side and then wrapped it around my four wheeler until all twelve were in...then I tied them down...no problem.
