There are some pics of the first part of the process on Blind Floor Questions, but here is the completed project and my feeder setup. A few pics of my little hunter who will be joining me very soon when she's old enough too! I still have a few creature comforts to add such as cup holders, shelves, heater, and more.

My favorite part of my build? Figuring out a way to include a charging station(s) in the blind for phones and tablets

You can see the solar charger for the battery back here...

My charging stations setup to the battery, changed out the connector to an alligator clip later as a "kill switch" for the LED lights in the USB connections so they won't run down the battery while we aren't there.

View from one of the seats...

She climbed up and down all day with no problem.

She loved her new "house" to play in, helped me as much as she could.

Might think about a hand rail on it, hate to hear about any injuries after or before dark. 911 is along way off.
Looks good.

We mature folks have done better with steps instead of ladders. Rails are also handy for carrying things or a backpack and gun. We bought some stairs for a couple blinds that had rails and made some with rails for some shorter blinds.

Looks like she's ready now. Nice blind.

I will probably add rails later, just ran out of time as I built this pretty quickly. Next year I plan on adding steps instead of the ladder, and deerview windows to replace my homemade attempt at windows.

Any suggestions for creature comforts? My list now includes:
1. a few shelves
2. cup holders
3. propane heater
4. insulation
5. carpet on the walls or some kind of sound deadening

Unless the inside of the stand remains completely dry, I'd avoid carpet. It'll mildew and give you all sorts of sinus issues in the stand. No bueno, Amigo.

Yep .... forget anything that can hold moisture and also provide building materials for insects. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get some "Foamular" insulation board. Then seal the corners and other drafty holes with expanding foam.

I've already used expanding foam to seal it pretty good. I'll go back and cut it to fit the foam board in later and reseal again as necessary. It does stay dry as far as I can tell, waiting on the first good rain to find out if I need to fix anything.

Nice build. Wire it down or the wind will blow it over.

I don't see anything wrong with the windows you built, might use some thin foam tape between the frame of window and blind (keep bugs and moisture out). Spend the money for sliders only get half a window.

Looks like Little Miss is already ready to go with you. I'm interested to see how those usb chargers work off that battery. Pretty slick idea and may have to do that. I hardly get any service at both of my stands, so it's constantly searching for signal and draining the battery down.

Only thing I can see is a railing like posted above, but you've already discussed that. If you're putting in shelves, no need for cup holders.

Hopefully this shows it well enough, I used window seal gasket (1/4") to try and seal the windows. I then used the hooks you see in the picture to pull them snugly against the gasket and lock in place for wind etc.

One of the guys is going today to the lease to start getting ready, he's checking the blind for any leaks while it's raining out there now.

I'll let you know how it goes, figuring I'd wifi my phone and she can use her tablet with headphones to keep her occupied. Just don't want it running down the battery in the phone and tablet while she'd using them.

The cup holders in the shelves help prevent accidental spillage of any drinks. banana
