Anybody running one of these?

My old protein feeder has rusted out and it is time for a new one. I like the idea that the deer can't empty it in 2 weeks, 300 miles from the house.

You should get a hold of Mitch from Krivoman. He make timed protein feeders and I can attest that they work very well and are sturdy! I haven't had any issues with coons, cows or anything messing with them.

That said, I have several All Seasons corn feeders and they are great.

I am looking at these as well. Trying to determine whether or not to go timed or free choice. I am 4 hours from the lease, so I need to cut down on my trips and don't want to drive up every time we get a rain to make sure everything isn't all clogged up.

How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

I have one and the regular Record Rack pellets mush up at the funnel area. I clean out the funnel area and get it going good so I think and next time back mush again. Will be trying the Nuggets next.

All Seasons wouldn't recommend a particular protein when I called which is kind of lame.

All Seasons Feeders in San Antonio offers The Hammer Feeding System which feeds BOTH free choice and on a timer. Considering that they have their own versions of timed protein feeders, it says a lot that they are carrying The Hammer.
