Just bought a new house and it had two of these feeders laying on pallets in the back pasture. I can't seem to contact the company that makes them nor can I find any spinners that will fit this. Everything seems to be build for cylinders not squares. Any suggestions? Don't want to throw them out but they are a waste of space if I can't figure something out.

Find a local metal shop to fabricate a plate that will allow you to switch back and forth between protein and corn. Should be pretty easy to do.

Thanks, but none of the numbers, including this one, work for them.

You can probably bend those flanges out flat and then maybe drill holes where necessary to mount what ever, worst case you can get a piece of plate steel to use, to strengthen the existing flange. May want to put a piece of inner-tube or other material between the plate and the galvanized to thwart galvanic corrosion, or what ever it is called from happening to the different metals.

Just put something like this on it, I can help you with it. You'll have to come to Denton on a week night though.

Get with Ramball26 on the forum... If I had those I would have Ramball convert them over to stand and fill.

Those appear to be an older design of free-choice protein feeder. If you want to convert them to a spin feeder I'd remove the drop tubes. Then, all you need is an adapter plate at the bottom big enough to mount your desired motor timer unit, with a mini funnel to drop on the spinner plate. I've done several that way. Then just sleeve some legs onto the leg brackets and you're in business.

You can go one step further and have somebody fab a base for you to convert to a ground fill feeder. That's what I built for this 400 lb'er. Those galvanized hoppers should last a while.

I'm down in Katy and can help you out if you're close. If in DFW area Ramball is your man like others have said.

yep pretty much, get some pipe to fit over the angle iron legs, cut the tube off, make a plate that will bolt on and your in buisness

Just mount feed tubes on the end of it or have somebody weld some on and you have a gravity feeder that you can feed corn or protein out of. I use gravity feeders and the deer eat out of them just fine.
