Do you want one that broadcast the feed or one that dumps a certain amount into a feed trough when the timer goes off?

Either or. Small tract and was thinking of protein just as an attractant. Plus I don't want the raccoons eating it all. Was thinking if they only had a certain amount a day I could maybe influence their routine each day.

In years past American Hunter made a timered trough protein feeder. You could feed protein or mix at selected times and quantities into a trough. You could then remove two cover panels that would allow to to spin corn into a larger circle for hunting season if desired. I do not think they are making protein feeders anymore.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I would probably mix it in with your corn feeder to see if they will eat it first before you buy another feeder
