Ok, anyone have any experience with a redneck blind? Looking at either the predator or buck palace models with the king windows on the corners to use as a combination bow/gun blind.

They look nice but there's no way I could spend that much on one. Get you a Krivoman.

I have one Redneck Blind. It's the 4x6 model on the 10 foot tower. I like it a lot. Seems well made and well designed. It was expensive.

If it lasts and makes a good stand for years it is a good investment. Especially if you have your own land and can leave it set up. I helped a friend build a platform and set a Krivoman on it the other day. The plastic is pushing a quarter inch in thickness. I have seen the Redneck blinds at a store in Llano but didn't get close enough to check them out seriously. But I like the dual purpose design of them. If the materials are good and made to withstand the sun and wind of Texas then they should do well.

Are they built in sections or are they one piece and air/water tight except for windows and doors?

The blind that I got came completely assembled, with only the support structure to assemble and attach. Then, following the Utube instructions, we stood it up. It was far easier than I had expected. I did all the assembly and attachment by myself. It was easy. Then I called my neighbor to help me stand it up with a tractor and some light chains.

The blind itself is two years old, I think (maybe 3). All windows seal with a good rubber gasket. Same for the door, but I see that the squirrels are gnawing away at the soft rubber door gasket. I don't think that'll get them into the blind.

In all the big rains we've had, only a small amount of water has dribbled inside. I probably need to put some silicone lube on the rubber.

It was expensive, but I'm thinking that I got my money's worth. And it really was easy to put together and stand up. You will need some good ground anchors, because the whole blind and structure are pretty light.

After comparing various blinds Redneck is the brand I decided on. Haven't purchased yet but probably will soon.

I don't know about down here but I go up to Missouri for a week every year. The are great up there. It gets in the low teens and single digits. A buddy of mine and my dads have heaters with propane tanks in his. They are great. You can take off your coat when it's 10 degrees.

Love my shooter 5X6 blind , can take young'uns and they do not need to be so still and has enough room for little buddy.
