Put up my lock on treestand about 2 months ago. It is a Johnson 360. I have sat in it twice since. I went to fill the feeder for that stand and the brand new ratchet strap for it had broken and it was hanging. I do not like that obviously so my question is do you guys you cable come alongs or what do you use to secure your treestands?

I always use straps and don't have a problem unless its the cheaper ratchets. They will dryrot and don't like to be over tight.. but one big problem can be squirrels
if you use cable and chain just make sure and re set them every year to not cause damage to the tree
