You can find bulk cottonseed at Cotton gins if it is available. It is cheaper to buy it in bulk. They usually sell it by the ton. I bought mine at Golden Traingle Feed. It is a little expensive due to it being already bagged. They sell it by $12.00 per 50lb bag. Next time I will be buying in bulk. I can get a ton for about $250.

We get ours at the local Farmer's Co-Op gin. Not sure on what it cost.

I read it has something in that makes the bucks sterile, good practice is to stop feeding it by August.

When's the best time of year to buy it. Isn't it a seasonal thing? We hunt north of Rotan and I've been wondering if the gin there sells it. Haven't bothered to make the call yet.

I bought 2 tons the other day for less than $500. I cannot remember exactly how much it was. Right now is a good time to buy cotton seed due to the cotton harvest. I buy directly from a gin in my area and transport to the ranches.
