Anyone using them? Thinking about picking one up for the lease.

No but I would if I had one of them. Coons not getting in that thing.

Have one of the TWS feeders. Coons don't get in it but, they do eat the corn under/around it. Easy to come up and fill. Works well. No hogs on our place so can't tell you anything on that. If/when we do get hogs I'll stake it down with some T-posts.

I LOVE my HB stand and fill! Will be buying more of them. Have some pics of coons TRYING to get in em. They were unsuccessful. I won't ever buy another feeder that isn't stand and fill. Timers and such have been flawless. T posts to anchor and a feed pen to keep the hogs off.

I've got six of the HB feeders and I'm always puzzled as to why there's never much mention of them on this site.
I put eliminator plates on all of mine and have been amazed at the amount of corn that is saved due to the design of these feeders and the plate. I'm actually buying another one this month.
I honestly feel like they're the last feeders I'll have to buy. IMO they're much better than the All Seasons because no corn drops directly below the spinner box and they're welded steel.

If your ever in San Angelo get a West Texas Game Feeders stand and fill. Save some $$ and a great unit. I think I have 7 of them now.

I went with the TWS feeder, mainly because it came complete with the solar panel, battery and eliminator spinner plate and it was $110 cheaper than the HB.

The 650# EZ Reach models run around $800.00 I believe. For about $100.00 more you can go all the way up to 1000 Lb. feeder.
All their feeders come with the large 12V motor, solar panel that is attached to the box, and "The Timer" also.
Mine fling corn out to 20'+ depending on how long of a spin cycle you have programmed, and at the end of each cycle, the corn slides down the angled steel and falls outside the unit. Nothing goes directly under the spinner .

Just noticed the TWS feeder looks like it carries the Texas Trophy Hunters logo. Any affiliation?
Hope not.

No and that's not the TTHA logo. TWS is in Brady

The HB feeders are more expensive due to them being all steel, and the heavy gauge wire they use on the cages.
There's nothing lightweight about them. I compared all brands before I bought and I've been extremely happy with them.
I used to have all Monarch products, but they have changed hands a few times in the last 10 years, and the guys that own it now aren't keeping up with the Jones' as far as new products go.

Yes sir. gave the cage more depth by moving it to the out side also.. Biggest improvement though was moving control box to the outside and only having motor in the cage.

3 of my friends have had this feeder for a few years now and love it!
I just recently purchased mine 3 weeks ago and have had it out since the day I purchased it. Awesome feeder!!!

I got the 1000lb which I think the one in your pic is the 1000.

Easy to fill , easy to program and weighs nothing when empty.

My friends don't have pig cages around there's and have no issues what so ever. My pen was already up so that's why I have the pen around mine. I wanted durable , easy to fill and quality.

I would recommend this type to anyone.

I have 1 600 hb and 2 all seasons. Hb is better const. All welded steel slings about 20 ft and no coons. All seasons cheaper all around but i modified the bottoms to copy hb design and no coons. Cow can move all seasons if not staked down. No problems with hb. Both have same timers and feeder units. I WILL NEVER buy anyother type of feeder ever again. These both are great.

For that kind of money I would go to a directional feeder.

If you can wait till this weekend, Eagle Mountain Outfitters out of DFW will be at the show with their new line of stand and fill, I got a chance to try one out compared to my All-Seasons and it is hands down better. Website and Facebook coming soon as well.

I have 8 of the TWS old timers. I like everything except the SpinTech mechanism. My opinion is that the eliminator plate is a better design.

I've had both spin tech works better for me. Eliminator always throws the plastic insert... But I've heard it won't if you oil it. confused2 two years vs one year.

One of these days I'll find the perfect design bang

Made a big difference, but best thing for me was moving the box to the outside. Makes life much easier
