I need some help on brands of soft/tactical style gun cases. I'd prefer a double gun case. I just like the extra room to put my silencer, ammo, mags, rangefinder, etc. or even a 2nd rifle.

Some that I have looked into:

Drago- Their double rifle case is too short, but I really like the way this case is set up..If my rifle would only fit. cry I like the way a gun sets, the exterior pockets are awesome for my needs I think, and looks pretty comfortable to carry. My bolt rifle is right at 45" so the only option for Drago is their single rifle case, unfortunately.

Voodoo- Great looking case, but I've read quite a few reviews about the stitching being subpar and not even tying the materials together.

511 50" sniper bag- pretty sweet case, but the price sucks...

Any others I should look into and any reviews/pics on some yalls have would be awesome. I've googled other cases, but don't know much about them.

TIA

I have an Explorer Tactical 3 rifle soft case. It will hold 2 bolt guns with 50 & 56mm scopes or 1 bolt gun and 2 ARs. Typicall I have my scoped 308 AR, a bolt action and a AR15 in it. Also has a pouch big enough for two pisols, 3 double mag puches and another storage area for gadgets.
I use it about once a month for the last 2 years and haven't had the first issue with it.

I've got the double Voodoo & it's held up well.. Plenty of storage in the exterior pockets and it gets used often..

Look at Brownell's. they have some made in the USA. I got one and it works fine for me and I just couldn't put an AR in a case made in vietnam. Just sayin'....

I have a couple of Condor double rifle, soft cases. They are reasonably priced (less than $100 if I recall). Mine are 36'' and hold a 16'' AR style rifle if you can collapse the stock just a little bit. I use them nearly every weekend and really stuff the heck out of them with rifles, ammo, slings, suppressors.. they have held up very well in the 1 1/2 yrs or so I've had them. Only issue is that since I leave them in the back of my truck bed during while I am at the lease, the color has faded just a bit, but no issues with zippers, straps, etc..

as I said, mine are 36" but I am pretty sure they make a longer version as well..

I did a review on them a while back...

ccreyeder, I think I may try one of those Condors. Where did you order it from? I've found a few youtube videos comparing it to the Voodoo bag and they are very similar, and have a nicer price tag.

A little update...

I picked up a 46" Condor double rifle case like ccreyeder mentioned. Initial impressions were that it was made well and seems to be very durable material. Padding is fairly thick so putting it in the bed of the truck didn't scare me. I will say that it is a tight squeeze putting a 45" rifle into this 46" bag. It will fit, and although I didn't measure the inside dimensions, it is very snug.

The outer pockets are nice and big, and they have a thin divider on the inside of each. This makes it nice to have 2 mags in a single pocket and not rattle against each other while carrying it. I haven't used it a whole lot yet, but it seems like it'll make a nice rifle case. up
