I hunt big game out west every year, thinking about a pair of kenetrek boots. Are they worth the money? I am looking at the mountain extreme with insulation. Thanks for your input.

I love my Kenetrek Hardscrabble hikers. So much so I bought a pair of Mountain Extremes also. They are certainly worth trying to see if they work for you. JMHO.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Absolutely. I have used mine for two elk hunts, and I don't have enough sense to stay out of areas that are unkind to equipment, so they were fairly well used. Love them.

I would definitely say they are worth it....but I live in Nevada and practically live in the mountains.

Tried some on at dsc and they were nice. I may be buying a pair soon. I saw lowa, but the people at the booth were too busy checking their phones

Absolutely.... and I don't have enough sense to stay out of areas that are unkind to equipment 'Dude's crazy. Round 2 wasn't so bad, relatively speaking.
