I ordered some new and high quality 18650 batteries for use in my game light. Well...heck...I didn't know or notice that they make both a flat top and a button top version. I need the button top and now own 4 of the flat top type. I ordered and have gotten some new button top type, but wonder if there's anything I can use the flat top type in. They make the flat top ones, so there has to be a purpose.

buy 4 small disc neodymium magnets; boom, you now have 8 button-top 18650's.
(affix them in place with some silicone caulk around the edges)

I have done that when I had the wrong size (same volt) button battery and it worked great.

I would recommend purchasing a charger like this. You can find them cheaper if you shop around. What I really like about this one is it is small and can be put in your hunting pack and it will allow you to use your 18650 to charge anything that supports USB. I use it to keep my phone or gps charged.
