I have always been a big fan of benchmade knives and have a few of them and lost or wore out many more of them. I lost one of my favorite ones the other day duck hunting and brought me to look at becoming a dealer for them with the other things I sell. Won't be too difficult to be setup as a dealer except for choosing which knives I have to stock, as my preference is for the nicer knives which cost more money. So what are yall's favorite bench made knives, and why?

940 Osborne by far. Great design, very comfortable to keep in the pocket and very useful overall size.

I have several Benchmade knives and I think they are great. I carry a Mini Griptilian every day and I also have the larger folder Griptilian and the sheath model. I just purchased a new Saddle Mountain Skinner before deer season and was able to try it out on a couple of bucks. It worked great and I am really happy with it. I don't think you can go wrong with any Benchmade!!

have 3. one emerson cqc7 tanto point and 2 afck, one black one shiny. they're too durn hard because they're made from ats-34. i prefer to have knives i can easily re-sharpen with a norton stone by hand instead of having to use some gadgetry. i prefer the steel in my old puma knives, and the made-in-usa carbon-v old cold steel knives i have. bear and son uses some good steel in their knives also. the older buck knives i have are also good steel.

Big fan of all the benchmade Mel Pardue, Osbourne and griptilains X2. I have a Nimravus that was picked up over in the rockpile awhile back, that is a great field knife. Another I like (every day cary) is a ZERO Tolerance Assisted Folder. I liked the Benchmade because of it's size over my old go-to the spyderco but both were difficult to open with one hand( big skinners on me) or just forget it with gloves. Found ZTK's and all you need is your index finger and the blade opens.

Griptilians
Mini Griptilians are my go to, not too big I considered these to be working knives, good steel, strong enough, do it all and not too big to be bothersome. If you're going to stock Benchmade put up some articles to explain the differences / advantages of the steel and point / shape of blade

Walter How in the heck did you wear out a benchmade???? Only way I can think of is using it to mine diamonds. I bet you can skin 50 deer with mine before sharpening for 30 seconds. My Benchmade would skin 10 million deer, 13 million wild hogs, 45 million ducks and every other wild game killed in North America for the next 50 years before wearing out. You sure you are not talking about a Wally World special??? Heck, it takes a diamond stone/rod to even sharpen them. Not trying to call you a liar, I am just very, very interested in how you can wear out one of these knives!

I have wore out many knives, I don't just use them for cleaning game but all kinds of things. I always have a knife on me every day and use it many times a day at work from opening boxes to cutting zip ties or cutting any other things. It also gets used for things it is not made for, but when that is the only thing I have I use it. Like anything will daily hard use to can take a beating. I am defiantly not blaming it on the knife more so that I use my things hard and get my monies worth.

Been carrying a Torrent for six months. The hardness is just right. I can get a nice edge on it and it will hold for quite a while. I wanted an assisted opening and now I don't want to be without it.

I like benchmade auto's (9050 is part of my EDC) but prefer CRKT (m16-z specifically) if not an auto knife..
