I have not seen this info out there yet so I thought I would post if anyone was curious. I took 50 pieces of Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor brass and ran it through my 22 Creedmoor Whidden die and took 10 of those and loaded a ladder. Figured I better back off my normal load thinking the brass might be thicker but actually it didn't seem much different than the 6 mm Creedmoor I had been using. I reduced .5 gr then worked up to my original load with no signs of excessive pressure and velocity seemed very close to my standard Hornady brass load but now my ES is a little better.

Great news. Taking advantage of that small rifle primer!

Good info David. Especially since I will be having Horizon build one soon. Won't have to wait for 6mm brass to show up again.

David, did the brass take the single step down with any hiccups? I know the 6mm Creed brass from Hornady didn't think anything about it, smooth as puddin!

Yep sized easily with just a light shot of One Shot lube....easy peasy
