Man my jaw almost hit the ground when he told me he sold 55 pounds of brass. This was factory ammo brass he had shot. He sold it to the scrap dealer for less than a dollar a pound. Im gonna start buying it for $2 a pound. It's mostly 9mm, .223 Rem, 30-30 Win, 44 mag.
One shot is all it should take.

Whenever you get more than you need, I'm a buyer. Make some on the bottom line for yourself.
Good score you made!

He practically gave it to them for $.92 / lb and drove 20 miles to boot.
One shot is all it should take.

Did he not know that reloaders would pay a lot more and he could ship it? The answer seems obvious but then again, he sold it as scrap, so who knows. We toss all the rimfire in a bucket and when its full cash it in but the place is 5 miles from me. It wouldn't be worth a 40 mile round trip for $50, to me anyway.
