Finally got to shoot at the range today after being swamped with work for a month. Took the Creedmoor 6.5, and some H4350 loads of 130 VLD's. Made 3 rounds of each charge from 38.3 to 40.3 grains in .2 increments. I still have the 30 inch barrel, the velocity is a good 2875 to 2900 fps with mild charges. Looks like the accuracy node is between 39.6 and 40 grains of H4350. There are several clusters of .2 to .3 MOA except the wild flyer in the 2nd group. The tightest group measured .125 MOA but I am running out of VLD's but still have an unopened bulk of 500 bullets in 130 Hybrids. I may have to start a new test, I hate doing that when I just made some nice loads but run out of bullets and then I have to buy a new box with a different lot and that might change everything again anyway.

nice shooting! just curious what was ambient and barrel temperature? Because powder burning rate/pressure is changing with temperature even for Varget.

Strobes, outside temp was around 90 degrees and humid. I did not do the round robin which i should have, but shot a string of 4 loads ( 12 ) at once before cooling. Barrel was not smoking hot though, it was just the temp that needed to be cooled down. I don't like shooting long strings in hot weather. First group was unofficial due to a clean bore and that clueless flyer on 2nd group, must have hit a mosquito on the way to the target, lol. Kidding aside, the H4350 performed better and more consistent than the H414, Hybrid100V and RL17. It's my first test with H4350. I still have lots more room to increase charge weight, the velocity is almost reaching 2900 fps with just 40.3 grains. But I'll sacrifice speed for accuracy. I have pushed the 130 Berger at 3,075 fps with just 43 grains of RL17 without case or bolt pressure signs while I was searching for H4350 several weeks ago.
