Why not use RST? They're reliable and the price is reasonable considering you're hardly buying mass market ammo. Besides, you can't ask a question like this without showing us a picture of your vintage shotgun. It's ... uncivilized.

I use the RSTs in both 12 and 16, very pleased with them. Not aware of any available locally. I just order online, seem to be good folks.

I noticed the other day that Cabela's had 2-1/2" 16ga. on their website. Don't know if they have them in the store.
