Anybody figure out a start and max load for either of these powders in a 30-06? Thinking they would be pretty good powders for the 150's and 165's.

They might be but looking at the Data on the Alliant page I see none for the 30-06. Thinking those might be a little slow burning for those weights in the 30-06 from the listing of cartridges they have data for with those powders. They might work well with the heavier bullets though.
Then again you never know, Hodgdon has said CFE223 is too slow for the 6.5 Grendel and it is one of the more popular powders for that round. Hodgdon still doesn't list a load for that powder in that cartridge but other sources do.

R23 is the new temp stable powder similar to R22. R26 is the new temp stable powder similar to R25. So, the data for R22 and R25 would be close to these newer powders. R25 will be way too slow burning for the 30-06. R22/R23 can work, but it will be a heavily compressed load. Go to Alliants web page and search R22 loads for the 30-06, and that will give you a starting point. http://www.alliantpowder.com/reloaders/powderlist.aspx?type=1&powderid=14&cartridge=81

Pretty slow powder for those bullets. RL19 would be much better. I load IMR 4350 or H 4831 in 06 case lengths.

Tried 59 grains and it filled the case up to the mouth. Figured that would answer THAT question.
