I'm a little OCD about my guns and ammo. I keep guns clean and I actually write purchase date on ammo. I organize the ammo to use from oldest to newest- shoot oldest first. Any need for this? Does it absolutely not matter on age of ammo as to when I should use it? None of the ammo is more than 2 years old. There i said it. 1st step to recovery!! Thanks

I don't think there's any harm in doing that, but unless you think something might sit on your shelf unnoticed and unused for 100 years or more I can see nothing gained either.

X3. Can't hurt. Probably won't help significantly.
That said, I roughly try to do the same and shoot my oldest stuff first.
