What is the best powder that will not change when the temp changes. Mostly for magnum loads. I use a lot of 4831 and 7828, H1000 seem to work fine just want to know if I'm missing out on anything better.

Hodgdon has a good list of there "Extreme" temp insensitive powders.

Hodgdon Extreme line does great. Alliant also has some of their Power Pro podwers. I've been using the 2000MR and 4000MR with good results. IMR 8208 XBR is also a good one, but not for the 300WM.

I load retumbo in my 7 mag and it doesn't seem to be phased by temperature at all.
