I should receive my barreled action tomorrow. I hope to get it put in my stock and scope on it in time to start working on a load Saturday. Anyone have a good starting point using Hornady 140 ELD m and 143 ELD x using H-4350 or Varget?

I shoot 140 Berger VLDs in mine. I would recommend a range of 36 to 39 grains of Varget and 38 to 41 grains of H4350. H4350 has been my best powder but unbelievably hard to find.

I don't have any experience with it in the 47L, but IMR4451 has proven to be a good replacement for H4350 in the 6.5 Creedmoor. Only a tiny bit slower, but also runs cleaner. FWIW.

H4350 is the go to powder in the x47 but i have had great luck with re15 in several of them. Its very close to the varget burn rate.
