Anyone shooting a .284 win using the norma brass? Is it as good as Lapua? I here their having problems with the 6mm dasher (or was it 6BR). I'm still waiting the rifle to get built but I want to have all the brass on hand when I get the rifle. Not looking forward to necking up 6.5x284 lapua brass, fire forming, then loading again.

I've used Norma 6.5-284 to form 6-284, and it worked fine. I can't imagine that Norma .284 brass would give you problems...but this is really just a SWAG.

I love Norma brass. It's one of the big three - Lapua, Norma, Nosler. I quit buying Nosler because it seems a bit soft and doesn't last as long. I buy mostly Lapua because it's a bit less expensive than Norma, but the Norma has always given me long case life. That's just my experience. Others may feel differently. But Norma is never a bad choice.
