Very interesting. Wonder if it would penetrate far enough to be effective on pigs? The initial impact should be enough to knock one off it's feet, lol.

IDK 10 inch penetration into gel at 7yds. I think you're right, it would knock them down but they'd get up and run off.

I bet it would put them down within its limitations. That's a lot of energy to obsorb and 10 inches is plenty of penetration.

I would be interesting to see what kind of penetration, and velocity and energy these bad boys would have at 25 and 50 yards. I realize that they are "purpose made" for self defense at self defense ranges. But inquiring minds would like to know. At 5 bucks a pop, though, I don't think I'll be doing any longer range testing of them just to satisfy my curiosity.

Hard to see what that brings to the table that is not done better by even a small rifle.
