308 is so versatile and easy to make run well, there are many options. Varget is the go to choice and works with bullet weights from 125 to 190. Second choice - H4895, IMR 4064, TAC, RL 15. I have not tried it yet, but plan on trying the new IMR 4166 as another option.
But start with Varget, it is worth the effort to find it.
CFE 223 is one that might work in both 223 and 308.

For subs, Trail Boss is the go to choice. It is shaped like small dough nuts to provide better fill.

I'll leave the 223/300 BO for others.

3 powders that would cross over 308 to 223 with good performance are AR Comp /IMR 8208/ IMR 4166

AA1680 would be a good one for 300BO

Benchmark works well in .223 Rem. It's a very small-grain extruded powder, but it flows through a measure nicely. AR Comp is good in .223 also, but it is long-grained extruded and will NOT flow through a measure well enough to suit me. I use a Chargemaster when loading it for that reason. W748 and H335 flow well and work fine. TAC and X-Terminator work well too.

Not a .308 loader, so I can't say firsthand how any of those choices cross over.

I've used Varget for both 223 and 7mm-08 and H110 for supers on 300Blk
