Seems like common sense here but thought I pose the question. Have a ton of processed brass ready to go. Also have plenty of primers. Anything bad about going ahead and priming a bunch of cases and storing them ? Seems like you store the primers in the little plastic tray with cardboard covering it so common sense says shouldnt be a issue priming the case and storing. What's the prevailing thoughts............?

And I am talking about inside. climate controlled, etc

I don't do that myself, but I see no harm in it. If I did it, I think I'd store the primed cases in ziplock bags with a desiccant pack.

I've always brass prepped when I have time. I used to go ahead and prime them, though I stopped simply due to time management. It never had an adverse affect on anything when they sat there for months with primers in them.

I prep the cases and keep them in the ammo boxes until I get ready to use them, then I'll prime and load. It's just me, but I don't see any harm in priming them as long as its out of the humidity and keep them in ammo boxes.

I have thousands of 223 primed trimmed and ready to load stored in plastic ammo cans.

I usually keep between 500-1000 cases of each type of cartridge I load for primed and ready to load in plastic ammo boxes. It doesn't hurt a thing. I also put a note inside telling me what primer I installed in the cases,since I have many different brands/types of primers that I use for different guns/loads.
