I kinda thought it would be a good thing.... Kinda.
You know... Being extra vigilant & stuff.

However, it drives me nuts not to have an even (10) number of primers in a sleeve.

I managed to toss one across the shop while priming for some test loads.
I had to get a single to complete my 30 rounds.

I now have 29 left in the sleeve!!!! 29!!!!! LOL

I'm getting better!

I only looked for the lost primer for a few minutes.

After finding a half dozen spent ones, I said to heck with it and grabbed a single.

I actually think reloading helps my ADD. That's what I'm going with. LOL

Did I mention that there are only 29 in that sleeve????? HaHaHa

I know, that shizzle bugs me too, and I don't even have OCD. I like to get out x boolits and x primers and x cases and go to town. But, I swear I don't have OCD.

We all have our little foibles. I can't stand for the " main " light switch to be in the down position when the light is on. My wife puts up with it though.........

I'm much the same way when reloading. One lost case out of a box sets my teeth to grinding !

The 2 main things that REALLY chap my arse- 1- somehow pulling the pin on a primer tube that's full of 100 primers about to be filled in the progressive press, all over the floor. 2- leaving the rcbs charge master powder roller window open, so you pour powder all over the bench. Those are my main 2. (One of my previous employees spilled 3 full primer tubes of 100 on the floor within about 2 hours, and I about lost it! I sent her home for the day after that.)

It's not IF, it's WHEN on the RCBS Dump Gate.

I learned from everyone else doing it.
I sure as heck won't let it happen to me (until last week). LOL

The Chargemaster dump gate is the exact same thing as the fuel door on the truck.

Trouble is, you can't see the gate open in the side mirrors of life.

Shoot a match, loose brass, get an uneven number of brass left in an ammo box, and you'll get over that.

We must be brothers from another mother. Sever OCD and ADD, this is some bad mojo. Something you never grow out of but learn to control it a little. I use the term control loosely, more like live with. Not even going to say what gets me going. Other people think it is weird but I call it everyday life.

I can't help but laugh. I left the window on my Chargemaster open probably seven or eight times. Nowadays, I always make sure I close it when I'm through emptying it and check it before I start pouring powder in...I musta finally got tired of scraping up all that dumped powder. Old dogs do learn new tricks, it just takes repetition. And repetition. And repetition. And then maybe a little more.

I'm sure I could (and might have) worse issues. HaHaHa

I thought I was the only one with that illness. Glad there's more out there. Everything has to be exactly so-so or it just doesn't set right with me.

I always leave a container in place to catch the powder just in case I forget to close the door. Saved me a couple of times.

I have to load either 50rds or 100rd increments. Basically fill up an ammo box, anything different and i get grouchy. Also cant mix nickle with yellow brass in ammo box. Hate leaving an odd amount of projectiles in the box. Reloaders have to be ocd to enjoy it.

IMHO Don't look for it unless that's the last one you have. I find them all the time when I least expect it. Of course determining what it is, is another story. For now I just stash them until I can compare with others or drop the calipers on them. Maybe there's a better way?

Stay safe and keep you 3 letters in check.

I don't have that problem, Chad.
