Heeded some advice and expertise from others and here is what I got. Load tested for my Rem 700 5R milspec 308 for distance today. Loaded up a test range of 43.8 to 44.8 Varget with 175SMK. Rem brass either once or twice fired, Win LRP. Set just off lands.

I cut the targets up to get on one photo. Here is the load test of all

Here is the sweeeeeeet spot. center to center 0.025 inch Shot in the bull was from win mag

Also had previously load tested but zeroing today of Rem 700 LSS 300WM. 79.0g H1000 with Nosler 180BT Hunting

top group is 0.014 inch. Bottom group is 0.626

All were off lead sled except the bottom WM group that was off sand bag.

Cant be any happier and pretty sure I cant do any better. That my friends was some kind fun. Did not get a chance to put chrono on any of this as too many people at range today. Didnt expect anyone but me. Will do that next time since I'm zeroed in. Will be quick. I suspect about 2600-2650 on the 308 and around 2900-2950 on the win mag.

I'm betting you'll be over 3000 fps with the WM. I'm pushing 2950 avg with the 208 Amax over 76.8gr H1000. Your 300WM obviously likes that load though. Good shooting.

The guns are well better than the shooter thats for sure. Again most of that work is off a lead sled DFT with 50 pounds of shot on it. But it does give me ultimate confidence that if I cant just do my part kinda good that gongs gonna ring or the prey is gonna fall. Can get you addicted to the hand load aspect real quick. Game changer without a doubt
