Hey folks am trying to reload some Hornady leverlution ammo. When comes time to seat bullet some fit tight and some drop down deep. Is my sizing die or expanding die set up wrong never loaded a st right wall before

It could be the sizing. Or, it could be different brands of brass being used, and each has different thicknesses, causing different neck tensions. But, you should have a fairly consistent neck tension. If it's too light of neck tension, that bullet can move around. If you want more tension, remove any expanding ball to keep a tight fit.

Are you using the correct diameter 45 cal bullets? They should be .458 diameter, not .452

If your reloading the Hornady LE brass, you need a crimp die specifically for that brass. It's shorter than standard and the crimp won't reach it. I know that's not what you asked but thought I would throw it out there. I ran into that problem.

All my brass is hornady lever brass. My bullet is the hornady 325 ftx, I have Redding crimp die for the hornady brass.

Mr chad I can remove the. Ball from my expanding maybe I need to do this and resize all my brass to get proper size. Is

Only reloaded a few years,have loaded 270,7mag,223,308win,and 6.8 spc now want to load the hornady bullet for my guide gun
