Does anybody have any experience or recommendations on the Ted Nugent line of ammunition? I've noticed Academy is running a 30-50% sale on what they have left in stock. I'm an advocate of Barnes bullets, but not too familiar with the Nugent brass/loads. I always assumed you were just paying more for the name so I have never shot them before. Any opinions, more specifically on the .270 130gr. TTSX and 140gr. TSX? Thanks in advance.

I bought a couple of boxes of the .270 130 gr TTSX ammo on clearance at Academy for $25 per box. I bought it specifically for the bullet. I hope that I can shoot a few rounds of it in the future to see how it performs.

How bad is the brass soiled after you shoot it?

I was just curious... I picked mine up for less than $20 a box. I figured for that price it would be hard to beat, especially for a Barnes bullet.
