Don't know why, but I started thinking, why do we have to get the archery endorsement when we get our license, but they don't charge extra for it?
Why not just make it all one?
I know not everyone bow hunts, but just seems it would make more sense, at least to me
Like the title says, stupid question but I was just curious why

Before I bought my Life Time license, the archery stamp was $6. Has this changed?

Man I haven't read the reg book that close in a long time, I have just bought a super combo since I was 17 and assumed I was good with the exception of buying a duck stamp when we duck hunted... that's been almost 15 years ago now... I probably should read up on it a bit again in case times have changed.

Archery stamp is extra and have to ask for it, it does not come standard on your hunting license.

Like the title says, stupid question but I was just curious why You get charged for it, but it's figured into the price of the super combo. If you get a regular hunting license you pay whatever the fee is to add it.

It's 7 dollars for archery stamp and if you get the super combo it's added in it !

So if I have a super combo I'm good? Yes, all State endorsements are included in the Super combo. Federal Waterfowl stamp and sand hill crane stamp not included

I've been buying licences since the early 60's, and when they first came out with the stamp idea they had to leave room on the back of the licence for the stamp.
That is when they realized they had to sell the super combo or your license would have been the size of a road map.
Road map= How people used to navigate before GPS and Iphones.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

If you get super combo you're good on archery, just need to buy duck stamp extra which I hate.
