I can probably shoot 270, just havent had the chance to. 30-06 is too much for me right now.

Okay, I will chime in. You don't need a 30/06, not even as an adult. Why not just get a 308 and be done with it. Or a 243, which will take anything in Texas.

.30-06 isn't ideal for texas.

you'd be better off with a .25-06 or a .270.

sell your .22-250 and get a new rifle

My host from GA who is pretty much my uncle said he'd give me his Browning A-Bolt Meddalion if I keep a 3.6GPA thru HS. And dad wants a 270.

Hey, according to Jack O'Connor(who i worship)270 adn 22-250 are the only 2 cals that shoot consistently between different grain bullets out to 200 or 300yd. :P

LIke the grouping was maximum 2" without adjustment. That will kill a deer. Okay more than 80% of THF shoot dime diameter groups with 223s adn 308s at like 500yd but i dont care for that and im still just a kid. Let me try to get a pic.

My 257wby does the same thing but 2.5"...80ttsx, 100spire, 100spitzers, 100tsx, 110accu bond, 115vld

My 270 sendero has managed to shoot everything from 90 grain speer Hollow points to 160 grain nosler partitions and everythign except 150 grain barnes original x bullets into and inch or better at 100 yards.
