Was thinking about putting some on my hand of my bow. Has anyone done this? And does it help any?

i do it only because it feels better in my hand, I don't like the feel of such a thin grip and in the cold the handle wont freeze my hand.

The reason I put it on was shooting my hand was getting sweaty.

hmm, I don't grip my bow much. When it's not in hanger or at rest on knee/leg strap, I use a wrist strap and when I draw my fingers/hand/palm is open with the bow being pulled backwards into position by the drawing force.

I guess i shouldn't say grip but the very thin handle doesnt feel as good in my hand. When I shoot my hand is open and the grip of the bow is cradled between my thumb and forefinger. I do carry it around since I have don't use a bow sling. I bowhunt during winter months also not just bow season and those handles on the bow will get very cold. I had a time that it was about 15 degrees outside and was wearing gloves but when I took my hand off the grip it frosted up. That is when I decided to use the wrap to keep it from feeling so cold. That has been many many years ago but I still do it. Hunted last year in January in Oklahoma and the temp outside was 11 degrees with a wind chill of negative 2, the wrap made a huge difference in how cold the bow felt in my hands. I carry my bow long distances at times and it is just more comfortable to me but to each his own.

Yes I do it with the new bow I have, it has a slick hand grip. I used vet-wrap in a thin layer to give it texture in cold weather(dry hands) or if it is very hot(sweaty hands). When I draw I have my bow lightly gripped with only my index finger and thumb touching each other. It helps a lot but you need to practice with it since it will change how you grip the bow a bit.

Yeah, that would help. I hated the grip on my Z7E and the one on my Elite was worse. I like a little more substance to get a solid sit on my bow hand.
