Picked this up yesterday in Junction. I need another 270 like a hole in the head but couldn't pass the price. R700 Sendero Special with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x50. I've wanted a Sendero for as long as I can remember.

Those Sendero rifles are great shooters. I had one in 7 mag when they originally came out with them. It was a tack driver, I just got tired of lugging the heavy SOB around.

That ain't no lie. I spend countless hours in the stand and glassing these hills and the biggest rub I've ever seen is 75 yards from the front door.

Great shooting rifles. I have one in 7Mag that I've owned for 15+ years.

Have the same gun, it is my go to. Its been a great shooter and I have a tremendous amount of confidence in it. My wife has tried to lay claim to it... she is allowed to use it, but its mine!

I’ve had one just like it for 25 years. It shoots one hole groups at 100 yards. It’s totally unfair for whitetail. I really have to have “blood in my eye” to uncase it. Enjoy!

I have a Buddy that has one in 7 mag. I made some hand loads for so I shot it quite a bit. Definitely a sweet shooter.

Too dang heavy for me. A few years ago I got a Remington CDL SF in 300WM. This year I put a McMillan stock on it. Absolutely fantastic to shoot and hunt with. I do nothing but spot n stalk in the Plains and out west. If you're stand hunting those heavy guns are great.

I walked a few miles carrying mine last weekend with a 40 pound kid on my shoulders and everything required to keep a 3 year old content in a deer blind plus 1/2 a bucket of corn on top of it. It aint so bad carrying one.
