I have been reading through a few articles online to try and get some ideas for adding about 2" to my varmint stock from hs precision. I have contacted them and they let me know I could send it in to them and they would "re-mold" it to the lop I need. That might be the route I go, just wanted to see if anyone here has done this themselves on this particular brand of stock?

Spacers, whether in a slip on pad like Buzz mentioned or alone, installed between your pad and stock.

I made a crude one for an HS stock many years ago out of a block of redoak. I epoxied the wood on, shaped it to fit and then reinstalled the recoil pad. A bit of spray paint and a stock pad makes it invisible. It's lasted 10+ years without issue.

I use a stock pack and put a piece of rubber flooring material between stock pack rear straps and factory recoil pad. Inexpensive and effective.
