I shot the 223 for a while this morning, and then went and got the old 220. Ruger77 action and Douglas barrel, done by Lex Webernick. Man, that gun will shoot. I need to use it more.

Had some young folks come over to shoot. I hung 6 golf balls from string. 100 yards off. We all hit our targets. They both said how easy it was with that rifle. There's an old Vari-X III 6.5-20 on it, with that TMR reticle. Love the gun and the scope. And the reticle.

The pressure was on. When the gal cleaned all her targets, her boyfriend and I had to make our shots. That girl can shoot.

Been using the same load since the early 80's. 55 gr Nosler over 38.5 gr of IMR 4064. Norma brass. CCI BR2 primers.

Yes, sort of. Today was Ballistic Tips (so accurate), but the same load shoots the 55 gr Sierra GK into the same holes. The BTs might be a touch more accurate, but the GKs are tougher.
