Is it as simple to install in a Remington 700 as it is in an AR?

It is fairly straightforward with 2 pins that must be driven out (direction matters) to remove the old trigger and driven back in for the new. There are several videos on YouTube.
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

The trigger has directions with it, or should. If you have a digital camera, take photos of everything before you proceed, for reference.

I would say it's probably about as easy as a drop-in trigger on an AR.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Have you actually seen the Timney instructions? Its 2016, aint nobody got time for that. Find someone that has never installed a 700 trigger and see if they find it easier to follow a black and white, low quality print out or a HD step-by-step video.

I've never done an AR but I did replace one on a 700.
It was pretty easy except that I had to file down the trigger guard because the Timney was wider than the stock trigger.
The Timney is a really nice trigger!

Find someone that has never installed a 700 trigger and see if they find it easier to follow a black and white, low quality print out or a HD step-by-step video. Yes, I have seen Timney instructions a few times, when installing a trigger on a customer's gun. They were not the best, but I have certainly seen worse. It's not like we are talking about brain surgery or rebuilding a radial engine here, it's two pins and three or four parts to keep track of. Anybody who takes a few "before" pictures to go by as I recommended should have little, if any trouble with the installation. Yep, the videos are nice. YouTube is your friend when getting ready to try a procedure that you have little or no experience with. Perhaps the Timney instructions did not seem so deficient to me, because I have been installing triggers on various firearms for a bit over thirty years, now. Most of it is just common sense, and watching what you are doing as you go along. Do you find it to be an overwhelming challenge? - Most shooters do not, according to what I have read online.

Actually I suggested the instructions plus a few shots with a digital camera, which should be sufficient. The suggestion about YouTube is a very good one, the best in fact.
