I will be following this as I am also interested in the Compass.
There are a few YouTube videos. I have not yet found any good quality photos of the Compass.

I touched one at Academy. Overall it felt good but the safety was pretty gritty. I'm sure it's something that could be worked out with a little cleaning.
I'd like to hear some range reports as well. Seemed like a solid entry level rifle.

G&A has a write up on it in this months issue and I am interested in it. Seems like a lot of bang for the buck.

I may purchase one next month in .223, we are still kicking the idea around. If we do get one, we plan to offer to lend it to Boyds, if they want to make stocks for that model.
The problem is, we are also wanting a Howa mini-action rifle in 6.5 Grendel, and can't decide which we would rather have first.
In the end, this may be another question best resolved through the power of "and".

FYI.There's a recall on the compass now.
If the stores closed up tomorrow, a man should have enough Ammunition, Bic lighters,Tabasco sauce, Whiskey, and freeze dried Coffee to last him and his family until the casket.
