Check out the CZ SP01 and P01 threaded models if you're considering the P07.

Out of those, I'd pick the P320 or the PPQ, but only because I'm a huge fan of striker fired guns with nice triggers.

That's a contradiction!

Not exactly. Both the P320 and the PPQ have excellent triggers (for striker fired handguns), and there are some others like the VP9 that get close.

I'm seriously considering picking up one of the PPQ Q5 Matches instead of a 2011 for my next competition handgun.

Some are decent, and defiantly better than a Glock or M&P. But no striker fired gun gets close to a good single action trigger.

I bought my 9mm can during the AWB, so I went with a 92FS due to the prolific cheap mags.
I sent my factory Beretta barrel to Gemtech and they threaded it for me. The gun required a slightly lighter recoil spring to run, but it ran pretty well.

After the AWB expired, I got a few glocks (and a lot of mags). I picked up a lone wolf threaded barrel for a G17, and send my can off to gemtech to have a nielsen device installed. The glock runs great with no change to the recoil spring.

The lone wolf barrel leaves an extra 1/4" of unthreaded barrel.

I prefer the glock. The 92FS has been hanging in the safe unfired since the AWB expired.

I have used the 228 nice piece, but a lil more than i want to spend.

After thinking it through i think id prefer a fullsize over compact.

Im really leaning toward the cz 75b omega. It has all steel, omega trigger, and the ergos of the 75 are hard too beat.
