Don't know why but been debating one for years now. Never really had the money to really do anything but that should be changing soon. I'd like to have 2 initially. One for a 9mm other for 30 cal. Any to stay away from so I don't make a huge mistake.

The Silencerco Hybrid can do 5.56 up to .45-70, including pistols, if you wanted to just do one to begin with. I have 4 (and a 5th on the way) Silencerco cans and they are quality.

The Hybrid is good (and decently priced), but it'll get you with the cost of peripherals if you want to mount it on several rifles. It's also larger than most pistol cans, so take that into account.

If you wanted to be able to suppress anything common, a Hybrid and a .22 can would be excellent choices.

The .22 can is probably my most favorite can.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

The Crux Saxon 9mm is magnum rated up to .338LM. It might be the do-all you're looking for.

I have:
- 2 Silencerco Spectre: Love them they get shot very very often on 22LR and 17HMR

- 1 Silencerco Harvestor: Have it mounted on Browning X-Bolt 308 but have used it on Savage Hog Hunter 223, will not shoot from a blind without it

- 1 AAC Tirant 45: I share it between my Glock 19 and Glock 21. Sound great on the Glock 19 also does well on the Glock 21.

My next purchase will be 1 or 2 more Harvestors. Then a Silencerco Omega for an AR Platform within the next year or so.

Have an engineering friend helping me build 2 low-budget cans for around $175-200 each + stamps.. They may not suppress as well as commercial ones but he's saying the difference will be minimal.. My brother & I each have a tikka 7-08 & he has a Silencerco for his so when my stamp comes in we'll do a side by side..

Curious to see how it turns out!

Buddy of mine did that but he's got access to a machine shop so probably a little more advanced than most. Gonna try and go see what his is like this weekend.

Oh yea, this wouldn't be possible unless this guy had access to his press & other machines at work.. He can't even tell me about his current govt contract project... Something about missles...?

I'd by a .45 suppressor and then you can run it on 9, 40 and 45.
